TEP Admissions

Students must be admitted to the University of Memphis before applying to TEP. All students pursuing a teacher license must be admitted to the TEP Program as  required by the State Department of Education. Undergraduates should be admitted by the end of their Sophomore year and Graduate students should be admitted by the end of their first semester. Failure to complete the requirements for TEP Admission (see page 1 of the application for a complete list of requirements) will result in not being able to take TEP restricted classes until the requirements are met. This could result in delaying your graduation or not meeting your certification requirements.
