Prometric Center

The University of Memphis, in conjunction with Prometric, offers a wide variety of higher education computerized tests, as well as many other tests for professional licensure and certification. Testing is open to University of Memphis students, staff and faculty, and the general public. Visit the Prometric web site www.prometric.com to see a complete list of all the tests.

U of M Prometric Center Days & Hours of Operation:
(Important Information for Weekend and Evening Testing Customers: Please enter through the PATTERSON St. Entrance of Wilder Tower on Weekends and Evenings. During the weekday hours between 8 and 4:30pm, the usual entrances are accessible.)

*ALL EXAMINEES ARE REQUIRED TO REPORT 30 MINUTES IN ADVANCE OF SCHEDULED TESTING TIME.

** ON THE DAY OF TESTING, THE EXAMINEES SHOULD IMPLEMENT THEIR PARKING PLANS.  PARKING PASSES CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS PARKING OFFICE LOCATED ON ZACH CURLIN - 901-678-2212**

To Register with the U of M Prometric Center:

• Go to the Prometric website to schedule a test at www.prometric.com or call 800-853-6773
• Payment is made by American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard or by Debit Card.

• Information on fees for rescheduling and cancellation can be accessed at each individual test company's website.  Examples: for the GRE, go to www.ets.org/gre or for PRAXIS I, go to www.ets.org/praxis.

• Note to GRE examinees: applicants need to take the current GRE General Test before Auguest if you need your GRE scores before November.  The current form of the GRE will be discontinued as of August 1.  If you take the Revised GRE General Test in August, the scores will be delayed until mid-November, since this is a new revised form of the General test.
