Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a computerized graduate admissions exam. This test is offered on the dates specified below between the hours of 8:30 am - 1:00 pm (unless otherwise specified on the calendar). No appointment is needed. The testing location is room 111 of the Brister Hall/ Wilder Tower complex. Administration fee for the MAT $73.00.
The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a high-level test of analytical ability that requires solving problems stated as analogies. The MAT consists of 120 partial analogies that you have 60 minutes to complete. The test measures your ability to recognize relationships between ideas, your fluency in the English language, and your general knowledge of the humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, and social sciences.

Visit the UofM Testing Center MAT payment website, to pay the $73.00 exam fee through our convenient online payment system
Report to Brister Hall Room 111
Bring your printed payment receipt (without a printed proof of payment, examinees will not be admitted into the exam and all applicable fees will be forfeited.)
Bring one valid government issued identification plus a secondary ID (please visit www.milleranalogies.com to determine which forms of ID are required).
MAT score reports will be available immediately following the exam.
