Kristin received her BBA from Memphis State University in 1985. She previously worked as a Litigation Paralegal and as the Volunteer/Program Coordinator for the Mallory-Neely and Magevney Houses, which are part of the Memphis Museum System. She assists the Graduate Coordinator, Holly Lau and the Scholarship Chair, Jo Lenhart, and of course, theatre majors!

She is a painter and is a member of Artists' Link, which sponsors at least two local and/or out of town shows each year. She and her husband, Dr. David Dwiggins, who is resuming his career teaching Mathematics here at the U of M, have 11 cats and are supporters of the Animal Protection Association and Mewtopia.
