Throughout the past seasons we have been proud to present productions in accordance with our standard of excellence. Our most important responsibility has always been to give our students the opportunity for optimal growth, not only as artists, but also as individuals.

Friends’ contributions make it possible to give crucial scholarship aid to deserving students and also cover a portion of the expenses involved in bringing in our guest artists. The University of Memphis Department of Theatre & Dance has an active Alumni Club through the Alumni Association. We have had three well attended reunions since 2001. The club is involved with the Fred Mertz Association in creating the freshman orientation lunch every year.

Our alumni are working professionally across the country in educational, regional, community and touring venues.
