National Math Science Initiative Summer Internships in Dallas, TX

The National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) is currently seeking applications for summer interns at its Dallas, Texas headquarters.

For Juniors and above.
Work assignments are full-time (40 hours/week), last 10 weeks, and will begin in June and end in August. There are some opportunities for interns to stay on in a part-time intern capacity year round.
Included in many of our intern programs are orientation and kick-off events, networking opportunities with leadership and other interns, social activities, and learning sessions.
Pay for internships is $10 hour.

Tennessee Teaching Scholars Program

Limited to Juniors and Seniors admitted to TEP. Award carries an obligation to teach in a Tennessee public school for one year for each year of the award. Details here. Deadline April 15.

TMTA Dr. Henry Frandsen Scholarship for Teachers

The Tennessee Mathematics Teacher Association has a scholarship for pre-service mathematics teachers. Deadline May 1.

Peer Power High School Tutoring

Between 5 and 20 hrs/week at $10 per hour.
