Our goal is to provide SSP students with the support and skills needed to remain and be successful in college and complete a baccalaureate degree.



E-Workshops

Application Denied  -   takes on indepth look at credit reports, providing information about credit scores, credit agencies, and practical tips for improving credit.

Welcome

Student Success Programs (SSP) is made up of three programs focused on performance, retention and graduation:

  • TRiO Classic - open to eligible* students pursuing all majors, the federally-funded program provides free academic, career, financial, personal, social, and technological assistance and support to assist participants in adjusting to college life, achieving academic success, and graduate with a baccalaureate degree.
  • TRiO STEM - the federally-funded STEM program provides the same support as the TRiO Classic program for eligible* students majoring in science, technology, engineering or math degrees.
  • First Scholars – funded by a grant from the Suder Foundation, this program provides support similar to the TRiO programs to entering first-time, full-time freshmen who commit to living on campus and fully participating in the program. First Scholars receive a $5,000 scholarship, renewable for up to four years.

*Eligibility for both TRiO programs includes low-income (Pell-eligible), first generation OR students with disabilities
