Originally funded in September 2005, the TRiO ExCEL (Excellence in College at Every Level) program provides support services to first generation, low income students and/or students with disabilities needing support services during their university years.

The program is very competitive with a limited number of openings each year to maintain 200 SSS participants.   The program is housed in 415 Mitchell Hall. Ms. Katrina Heard is the Project Coordinator for TRiO ExCEL. Applications to apply for the program are available in the TRiO Programs offices and can also be found on the TRiO Programs website.
