To participate in the TRiO Programs at the University of Memphis, you must be first admitted and/or enrolled at The University of Memphis. In addition, you must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident and meet at least one of the following criteria:

•  First Generation Student: Neither of your parents have a bachelor's degree.
•  Low Income: If you receive a Pell Grant, you MAY qualify in this category.
•  A Student with a disability: You must be registered with Student Disability Services.

If you meet these criteria, you may be eligible for participation in the Student Support Services program. Please pick up an application from the SSS front desk at 405 Mitchell Hall or download, complete, and return an application from the Downloadable Forms section of this website.
