Visit the Athletics Hall of Fame for a history of athletics at the University of Memphis. Visitors are invited to view memorabilia items, explore the databases and learn about the history of athletics. You never know who might just stop by! Go Tigers Go!

Honors Hall Open House

Parents and families of Honors students are invited to visit the Helen Hardin Honors College for an open house, to visit with staff and to view Honors Hall.

Join us for a reception to welcome all our attendees with a chance to meet and talk with University administrators and deans, including Dr. M. David Rudd, University President, Dr. Karen Weddle-West, Provost and Dr. Darrell Ray, Vice President for Student Affairs. Hors d' oevres will be served along with wine.

Blue Lantern Tour presented by Alumni Association

This is sure to be a unique and memorable experience that will provide you with in depth knowledge about our traditions, while also highlighting the campus and its beautiful buildings.

Football Shuttle to Liberty Bowl
8:00 am - 11:00 am, Central Parking Lot, West Side
The football shuttle will take Parent and Family Weekend participants to and from campus to the Liberty Bowl. The shuttle service will begin 3 hours before kickoff to the Liberty Bowl. It will pickup at halftime and begin again after the game with the last drop off concluding 1 hour after the completion of the game. 

Tiger Walk
8:30 am, Tiger Lane, Liberty Bowl
Help welcome the Tiger Football team and the Mighty Sound of the South Marching Band as they enter the Liberty Bowl.

Late Packet Pickup
9:00 am-10:30 am, Pipkin Building, Liberty Bowl

Tailgate Party 
9:00 am - 11:00 am, Pipkin, Liberty Bowl
Enjoy a family-oriented tailgate in the Pipkin Building located in front of the Liberty Bowl, off of Central Avenue. We will provide traditional tailgate food as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This will be a great time to meet other families, parents, and students at the UofM and cheer on the Tigers before the big game! Those with the Go Blue Package will use their name badge to gain entrance. You do not have to attend the football game to attend the tailgate.

Cheer on our Tigers as the Volleyball team takes on UT Martin at the Memphis Invitational in the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. Free Admission.

Memphis Football vs. UCLA Bruins
11:00 am, Liberty Bowl
Cheer on the Tigers at the Liberty Bowl as they take on the UCLA Bruins! Football tickets will be provided as part of Go Blue Parent & Family Weekend package and will be in the registration materials.

Opening Night at the Scheidt
7:30 pm, Harris Concert Hall
Admission is free but you must have a reservation. Reserve at memphis.edu/concerttix.
A preview of the Memphis concert season, performed by artists from the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music, featuring works that will be performed by Opera Memphis, the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, IRIS Orchestra, Concerts International, and the Memphis Chamber Music Society.

University of Memphis Night at the Levitt Shell presented by Student Activities Council

Decks and lawn open at 6:30 pm
Join us for a live concert at the historic Levitt Shell in Midtown Memphis. Hang out on the deck or bring a blanket or chairs to sit out on the lawn as you take in the sounds of folk rock duo Trout Fishing in America and help us kickoff Homecoming week. Food trucks will be at the venue to purchase food or bring your own.
