March 1: 1st Installment Fee Payment Due
March 8: Classes End for 1st Session
March 10: Daylight Savings Begins
March 11-March17: Spring Break (Residence Halls except for Living Learning Complex
and Carpenter Complex and ESP Closed)
March 15: Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) for students who register for Second Part
of Term ONLY between January 29 and March 15
March 18: Classes Begin for 2nd Session
March 27: Education Career Fair, 1:00-4:00 pm, UC Ballroom
April 1: 2nd Installment Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 pm)
Emergency Notifications
During this season of possible inclement weather, it is important that you and your
student are signed up for Tiger Text. This service sends your phone a text message in case of inclement weather closing
or an emergency.
Financial Aid for 2013-2014 School Year
The priority financial aid deadline for the 2013-2014 school year (Fall 2011, Spring
2012, and Summer 2012) was February 15th, but there is still time to apply. It is
important that you and your student fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible to ensure that your student gets the maximum amount of aid that
they are eligible to receive. For more information, please contact the Financial

Enrollment Verification
Do you need verification that you student is enrolled for medical insurance, car insurance,
or anything else? Students can request enrollment verification from the National Student Clearinghouse or from the Registrar’s office. For complete details on how to request enrollment verification, please click here.
