Web Conferencing

Web Conferencing at the UofM

Adobe Connect is offered by the University as a web conferencing service.  Locally branded as umMeet, the service allows classes of up to 100 participants to meet synchronously online at the same time.

Where Do I Begin?

  • Computer Test: Prior to the first umMeet session, students will need to complete the computer test. This test will check a computer for its compatibility with Adobe Connect. It is highly recommended to complete the test a few days in advance in the event that there is a problem. If a problem is detected, troubleshooting tips are available on the computer test website.
  • Know your classroom link: Instructors using umMeet will send students the link to their umMeet "classroom." It will look similar to: http://ummeet.adobeconnect.com/blwilson57/
