Software: Install/Maintenance/Troubleshooting

Service Description: 

Users needing assistance with the install of software on their University owned computers can complete a service request for service. Users experiencing irregular issues with previously installed software or needing maintenance to this software are also encouraged to contact an ITS employee for assistance. Software not previously vetted by ITS can be reviewed before install to ensure compliance with University network and compliance needs.

Who Can Request? 

Requests can be made by Faculty, Staff, and Student Workers/Graduate Assistants.

How to Request Service?

To request assistance, please submit a service ticket.

What Information Do I Need to Fulfill Service Request?  

Information needed for submitting a service ticket will be Affiliation, Building, Room Number, and other Information needed. MS Office Suite is usually installed on any UofM computer equipment, but if an upgrade or a request is needed, users can go to SCCM and install or request the assistance of their LSP; a detailed description of the software and/or problem you are encountering should be included as well. Also include a number where the LSP can contact you, in case additional information is needed.
