GRADUATION APPLICATION PROCESS

• Seniors must call 901.678.2716 to sign up for a preliminary graduation session in the University College office during the semester PRIOR to graduation.
  
  For students who plan to graduate in August or December, you should attend a session in February or March.
  
  For students who plan to graduate in May, you should attend a session in September or October.

• Your advisor will determine if you meet all degree requirements and authorize you to file the Intent to Graduate Form. 

• Electronically submit the Intent to Graduate Form online at the Commencement Office website.  You must submit your intent by the deadlines designated by the Commencement Office.

• Once the Intent to Graduate Form is approved by the graduation analyst, a Graduation Agreement packet will be emailed to your University of Memphis account.                                           

• Print, review, sign where indicated and return the Graduation Agreement packet to:

Fax to 901.678.4913 (no cover is necessary)

• All students also must complete the required documents located at the Commencement Office website to be eligible for graduation.

Important note for students designing a degree program:

• A completed baccalaureate contract must have the approval signature from the Assistant Dean of the college to be eligible to start the graduation application process.
• Baccalaureate contracts must be submitted to University College by May 13 for Fall 2011 graduation.
