The Bachelor of Liberal Studies with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies is a online undergraduate degree designed by the Regents Online Degree Program to meet the needs of Tennessee residents whose access to higher education may be limited by job obligations, geographic location, family obligations, and/or other restrictions which make on-campus attendance difficult and unlikely. 

Students interested in pursuing the Interdisciplinary Studies major must identify two academic areas or concentrations which will constitute the core of their major (e.g., music and literature, art and English, etc.).  Each concentration must consist of a minimum of twelve semester-hours of upper-division (3000-4000 level) courses.  In addition, nine semester-hours of upper-division electives are also required.
