Students must meet all the following criteria to qualify for self-advising:

• You must have a declared major in the University College.

• If you are writing your own degree through the RODP Interdisciplinary Studies program or the Individual Studies program, your Baccalaureate Contract must be approved and be signed by the Assistant Dean.

• You must be in good academic standing (no academic warning or probation).

• You must have a minimum overall GPA of a 2.25.
  

Students who meet any one of the following cannot self-advise:

• Have not completed any required remedial/developmental courses or high school deficiencies.
• Student athletes.
• Students on academic warning or academic probation.
• Graduating seniors.
• Students new to University College cannot self advise until they have had at least one regular advising appointment.
