Students must meet all the following criteria to qualify for self-advising:

You must have a declared major in the University College.

If you are writing your own degree through the RODP Interdisciplinary Studies program or the Individual Studies program, your Baccalaureate Contract must be approved and be signed by the Assistant Dean.

You must have completed any required remedial/developmental courses or high school deficiencies.

You must be in good academic standing (no probation) and have a minimum overall GPA of a 2.25.

Student athletes, students on academic probation, and graduating seniors cannot self-advise.

If you do not meet all the above criteria, you must schedule an advising appointment by calling 901.678.2716 or come to a scheduled walk-in advising day.

Please note that it takes 48 to 72 hours for a waiver form to be processed.
