Students must meet all the following criteria to qualify for self-advising:

• You must have a declared major in the University College.

• If you are writing your own degree through the RODP Interdisciplinary Studies program or the Individual Studies program, your Baccalaureate Contract must be approved and be signed by the Assistant Dean.

• You must have completed any required remedial/developmental courses or high school deficiencies.

• You must be in good academic standing (no probation) and have a minimum overall GPA of a 2.25.

• Student athletes, students on academic probation, and graduating seniors cannot self-advise.

• If you do not meet all the above criteria, you must schedule an advising appointment by calling 901.678.2716 or come to a scheduled walk-in advising day.

• Please note that it takes 48 to 72 hours for a waiver form to be processed.
