The degree concentration in Commercial Aviation prepares persons for careers in corporate
aviation, general aviation, aviation related business, airport operations, and governmental
regulation of aviation. It does so by offering studies in management, business operations,
human resources, transportation, logistics, and aviation administration. These studies
are combined with experiential learning through internships in aviation settings and
build upon professional aviation instruction certified by the Federal Aviation Administration.
To be eligible to use these guidelines persons must hold FAA ratings or licenses which
certify them as pilots, airframe/power plant mechanics, or dispatchers, or they must
present evidence that they are seeking such certification.
