The Baccalaureate Contract Program

Creating an individualized program of study is both challenging and rewarding, and is not for everyone. There are several questions you should consider before continuing:

  • Are you willing to undertake the rigors of creating your own program of study?
  • Is your proposed program of study totally different from any other undergraduate degree offered by the University of Memphis?
  • Does your proposed program combine courses from at least two separate and distinct disciplines?
  • Have you given substantial thought to how your proposed program of study will assist you in achieving your academic and career goals?

If you answered “YES” to all of the above questions, your next step is to schedule an appointment with a University College advisor, who will help you choose between the Interdisciplinary Studies (RODP) and the Professional/Liberal Studies programs.  To schedule an appointment, visit our home page and click the link that says, "Make Your Appointment Online"
