Students selecting a specialty area in Home Furnishings Merchandising will provide services and expertise for all facets of housing and home furnishings. This includes the selection of housing, space planning and room arrangement, selection of appropriate colors and textiles, residential kitchen planning, marketing aspect as related to any area in residential planning, and entrepreneurship. Students will achieve a minor in Marketing from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics.
