Accountancy

The School of Accountancy at the University of Memphis is one of six departments within the Fogelman College of Business & Economics which is the only business college in the Memphis area fully accredited by the prestigious AACSB.

The School of Accountancy offers an online Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting for students interested in a career in the high-demand field of professional accounting. Students completing this degree will develop in such areas as accounting and its functional support of organizations, technological competency, critical thinking and problem solving, effective communication and team orientation, awareness of ethical issues in business, and how to make decisions in a global business environment. Graduates will also possess a solid foundation for considering the Certified Public Accountants exam (CPA).

The BBA degree with a major in Accounting requires a minimum of 120 hours to graduate.
