	Local needy population benefits through U of M nursing school outreach Each term, Hoffman brings her students into the community to not only volunteer, but to understand the scope and opportunities of the nursing profession.

	Easy verdict: law students reap rewards from clinic’s real-world setting This isn’t practice anymore. The cases, people and situations are real, and they’re seeking the aid of University of Memphis law students.

	Problem child? Intervention program offers solutions Clay and Angie felt like they were the ones doing something wrong. Their 4-year-old child had become a terror: he had been kicked out of daycare once, and advised not to return a second time.

	Spiceland Scholarship continues family legacy at U of M Family members of professor emeritus Jesse W. Spiceland have made a generous gift to create the Professor Jesse W. Spiceland Endowed Graduate Scholarship for the School of Accountancy.

	Grants to the University of Memphis A $100,000 commitment from Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation will support the role of the School of Public Health at the University of Memphis in the Comprehensive Sickle Cell Project.
