Help the less fortunate have a brighter holiday by participating in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, sponsored on campus by the U of M Student Nurses’ Association. This program provides gifts for the holidays to children ages 1 to 11 and senior citizens 60 and older who would not otherwise receive gifts. Participating individuals, offices/departments and organizations "adopt" a needy child or senior citizen for the holiday season and provide gifts for him or her.

To participate in the program, complete a participation form and return it by Oct. 10. Angel assignments must be picked up on Nov. 7-8 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Loewenberg School of Nursing. Gifts must be delivered to Newport Hall on Nov. 29 between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Gifts should not be wrapped. Call 678-2003 for more information.
