  • Veterans Day Celebration

    The University of Memphis, Veterans and Military Student Services honored those who have served our country in times of war and peace during our 2017 Veterans Day Celebration.  This celebrartion was held Friday, November 10, 2017, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm in the University Ballroom.

  • Textbooks for Tiger Veterans!

    The Student Veterans Organizations and Veterans and Military Student Services (VMSS) will launch the Textbooks for Tiger Veterans textbook lending library this spring semester 2017. The program will be open to all student veterans regardless of education benefits on a first come first served basis with priority given to those student veterans and dependents not receiving a book stipend. 

  • UofM Awarded funding from the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC)

    The University of Memphis has been awarded $60,734 from the state of Tennessee as part of Governor Haslam's Drive to 55 initiative. This grant will help make earning a college degree easier as military experience and training will be assessed and in turn identify college credits that our Student Veterans can be awarded. 

  • UofM named to List of 2017 Top Military-Friendly Schools

    Military Friendly Schools
