WebDev Meeting Minutes for April 28, 2004

WebDev Members,

This week's WebDev meeting has been moved to Wednesday, April 28^th, instead of our normal Tuesday meeting. We will meet in the 414 Smith Hall Training Room at 1:00 p.m.

• Demo of Visual QuickMenu Pro (opencube.com/prod_quickmenupro.phpl) (Masilak)
• Maintenance of information on U of M map pages (http://map.memphis.edu/)
• Preparation of SACS re-accreditation website documents
• Update on Verity search engine status
• Update on Luminis Content Management system

Meeting:

  review and overview of QuickMenu Pro
• Maintenance of information on U of M map pages (http://map.memphis.edu)
  review of campus map editor in development
• Preparation of SACS re-accreditation website documents
  review of Offline Exporer Pro for SACS re-accreditation ( www.metaproducts.com/OEPR.html )
• Update on Verity search engine status
  update / status: search engine was filtered considerably to allow for license of 50K documents; main U of M database was cleared and re-indexed. Document count is down to ~36K and server is running ok.
• Update on Luminis Content Management system
  patches applied recently caused bugs with Publisher Studio. New version expected release in June.

• PHP Surveyor - ( sourceforge.net)

• "people" server issues - allowing for scripts for departmental and/or official UM departments?
