WebDev Meeting Minutes for March 29, 2005

WebDev Members,

After a few months hiatus due to scheduling difficulties, we will have a WebDev meeting tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 in the 315 Scates Hall conference room. We will discuss and update status on several of the large web related projects on campus including the Luminis content management system and portal, and the University website redesign. Several of us have actually been meeting with some regularity as members of one or more teams/committees related to the above mentioned projects. As always, there will also be time for attendees to discuss other web related issues.

Meeting:

• Luminis Content Management Suite - changes from previous versions:
• Spectrum Portal: creation of teams/groups/work teams. If interested in joining send an email to erp_portal@memphis.edu
• Alison - current UM website transition to new design. Design improvements, search tool on home page, Inclusion form for adding items to A-Z List. 3 Areas of Importance(left hand navigation): audience, offices/resources, General UM.
  Tiger Pride: form to include in areas of template.
  
  Timeframe for new template UM - August
• Also process for creation of various new templates.
