WebDev Meeting Minutes for April 26, 2005

The WebDev group will meet today (fourth Tuesday of the month) in 315 Scates Hall from 1:00-2:00. Agenda items include:

• New faculty CV website
• HTML browser editor plugins
• XHTML web page coding
• Update on U of M website redesign
• Update on Spectrum portal implementation

Meeting:

• Demonstration of BF(Danny Linton, Christine) new Employee Self Service - Employee Time
  New website designed for FIT-Conferences (conferences.memphis.edu)
  rework of tuition-includes calculation table to figure your tuition/fee.

  Incorporates new application called HardCore (editor.hardcoreinternet.co.uk)
  
  
• HTML browser editor plugins
  
  
• XHTML web page coding - XHTML training site www.w3schools.com/xhtml
  
  
• Update on U of M website redesign - final demonstration to all clients soon. next phase of filling content.
  
  
• Update on Spectrum portal implementation - spectrum.memphis.edu - update and plans for implementation.
