University web site redesign update

New design coming along. Expected to be ready August. 15^th, 2012 to turn over to Web Services for template creation in OU Campus.

Shared responsibility for departmental servers

Recent find of departmental servers that contain pages marked-up with confidential Personal Identifiable Information (PII). Please, do not place confidential data on developmental servers. Read Campus Data Security Policy for policies regarding data security.

UMdrive inactive account purge

Purging all content of inactive accounts from UMdrive in process. Current UMdrive account holders won't be affected, only inactive accounts. Please inform campus community of this action. Any questions, contact Web Services.

UMWiki upgrade

UMWiki upgrade in the works. Planned dates for upgrade are for Fall, 2012.

Other items of interest

LDAP certificates to be installed before Monday, August 13, 2012. If concerned, please test applications that incorporate LDAP authentication and contact Web Services or submit a Helpdesk request for assistance.

Web Forms - Can we use Google Forms? Yes, if secured.

Secure information found on UMdrive - ITD analyzes UMdrive for confidential (public) data stored on UMdrive on a continuous cycle. Confidential information is addressed and necessary steps taken to remove from public view.
