About Dr. Zhang
Lan Zhang is Associate Professor of Chinese at the University of Memphis. She holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and a Masters in Modern Chinese. Prior to joining the University of Memphis, she taught Chinese language at Louisiana State University. Her research interests include Chinese grammar, acquisition of Chinese as a second language and Chinese pedagogy. She has taught all levels of Chinese language classes, and has also developed and taught courses in Chinese linguistics, Chinese culture and business Chinese while at the University of Memphis.
