Jazz Trumpet Player Sets Out To Play At GPAC

Jazz trumpeter Dominick Farinacci will be coming to the Mid-South to play at the GPAC's
Jazz In The Box. While earning awards and prestige, the musician was appointed as the 2011-2012 Artist in Residence at the Creative Center for the Arts in Cleveland, which includes the Rock & Roll
Hall of Fame Archives.
Farinacci has performed at several well-recognized festivals and clubs including Dizzy's
Club Coca Cola, Yoshi's, Scullers, and the Monterey Jazz Festival. He has performed
with many prominent jazz legends including Wynton Marsalis, Kenny Barron, and Benny
Golson.
The concert will take place at the Germantown Performing Arts Center on Friday, November
16th, 2012 at 8:30 p.m. The GPAC is located on 1801 Exeter Road in Germantown, TN.
Tickets will be available at the box office, by phone, or online via GPAC's website.
Box office hours are between 10 a.m. & 5 a.m. Monday through Friday and noon the day
of performance. All major credit cards are accepted.
