It is that time of again. We must ask for the help of the community and “Jazz Lovers” to support U92. WUMR has a radiothon twice a year, in the summer, and in the fall. This is the time when the station asks for continued financial support to help keep jazz alive and well on the airwaves, and online.

WUMR will hold its “Jazz for the Holidays” Radiothon starting at 9:17 a.m. on Thursday, November 29th and lasts until 9:17 p.m. Sunday, December 2nd, 2012. Yes, that is just 91.7 hours of pledges and donations.

We will keep playing the jazz listeners love and offer what gifts we can to all those who pledge their support. U92 invites guests from the "Jazz Lover" family such as musicians, community leaders, and supporters to come by and help U92. WUMR asks for the support of the community in helping us to train the broadcasters of the future and keep jazz - Americas own original musical art form - alive and well in Memphis and around the world.

Thanks to your generous support, we are able to broadcast our content online to various countries via the website and streaming audio. We will have fresh premiums for those who donate, along with music donated by many of the artists whose songs we air on U92.
