Willie Waldman ProjectThe Willie Waldman Project will be performing at the Buccaneer, a lounge located on 1368 Monroe in Midtown Memphis. The event takes place on Friday, May 2nd, 2014 and lasts from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The performance will feature artists including Herman Green, Willie Waldman, Clint Wagner, Terry Staffold.

The name might not strike an immediate chord but Willie Waldman is one that Jazz Lovers may find in the liner notes of great artists and groups such as Banyan, Rob Wasserman, Perry Farrell and Tupac Shakur. While the list goes on, there's much more to this trumpet player's credit than simply recording as a sideman on many of today's contemporary artists albums.

Willie Waldman was born July 5, 1965 in Santa Ana, CA. Since three years old, he's been infatuated with music, specifically one instrument...the trumpet.

A graduate of the University of Memphis, Waldman regularly performs with Herman Green and the Green Machine. He has also toured with Freeworld.

In 2000, the Willie Waldman Project produced its first album showcasing the musicianship of Daniel Shulman, John Molo, Tony Franklin, Greg Kurstin, and Stephen Perkins.
