Chris Freitas is a recent graduate from the University of Memphis with a major in broadcasting, and he has returned back to campus to finish his major in journalism. Freitas is the station's webmaster and sports producer.

He enjoys The Seatbelts, a jazz band led by composer and instrumentalist Yoko Kanno. The band performed the soundtrack of the Japanese anime series Cowboy Bebop. Freitas likes the group's music, because The Seatbelts are nostalgic of 1960s spy films and TV shows like James Bond, 007 and Mission Impossible. Chris has many hobbies including drawing, podcasting, blogging, photography, and even listening to international broadcasters via the web and shortwave radio. In fact, the shortwave hobby was the spring board to get him interested in becoming a radio broadcaster.
