Nicholas Marrero

As the son of Puerto Rican parents in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, growing up between two markets of New York and Philadelphia and with a father that owned a club that brought in live music on the weekends Nick Marrero was exposed to a wide variety of music at a young age.

As Marrero grew older, his passion for music also grew, especially his passion for Latin and Jazz musical styles.

Now in Memphis, Tennessee Marrero can be heard Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 1p.m.; and Saturday from midnight to six in the morning on Mundo Jazz with So' Brasil and co-host Miranda Amaral (from 5am - 6am).
