Randall Harris (aka “DJ Deezy”) grew up listening to Jazz, Blues, and Rock & Roll.
Music has been a huge part of his life from a young age, and, although it took him
a while to figure it out, he has decided to turn his love for music into a career.
He is currently studying Music Industry at the University of Memphis, and he interns
for Cumulus Broadcasting which owns 98.1 The Max, 103.5 Soul Classics, Kix 106, and
98.9 FM News Talk.
As a guitarist himself, he is a big fan of contemporary jazz with guitar or sax as
the lead. He is on-the-air every Wednesday from 10:15 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., and he
aims to broaden your jazz horizons, as well as his own. He is the hardest jammer in
the studio, according to Malvin Massey, and he wants to make the city of Memphis jam
out just as hard!
