International Student Enrollment Deposit
What is an Enrollment Deposit?
All accepted international students seeking an F1 visa are required to make an enrollment deposit of $1,500. The enrollment deposit reserves your place for the upcoming semester and will be applied to your tuition and fees. The $1500 will be added to your TigerXpress account and will be applied to your tuition and fees after registration.
Fall deposit deadline: July 15th
Spring deposit deadline: November 15th
Summer deposit deadline: April 5th
Who is Required to Pay the Enrollment Deposit?
The $1,500 enrollment deposit is required for all international undergraduates seeking an F1 visa.
How Do I Pay the Enrollment Deposit?
International students can pay their enrollment deposit fee in 3 ways:
- True Blue Tiger Account
- Login to your True Blue Tiger Account
- Click Payments and Activities
- Click on Submit Payment for 1500.00 USD
- Bank Wire Transfer

Cash or check payments can be made on the University of Memphis campus at the University & Student Business Services Office located in Wilder Tower, 3675 Alumni Ave., Memphis, TN 38152-3520. Cashiers are available Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (excluding University holidays).

Enrollment Deposits will only be refunded if you are unable to obtain your visa. Contact the Office of Global Initiatives at firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate a refund.
