Checklist Item Descriptions and Instructions

  ACCUPLACER*   The ACCUPLACER exam is given in the University's Testing Center in Brister Hall. Please visit the Testing Center's website at memphis.edu/testing/services/accuplacer.php for exam dates.
  Credentl Eval (www.naces.org)   Education credentials for all international students must be reviewed before the University of Memphis can consider a decision. Please visit memphis.edu/admissions/naces.inst.php for additional information.
  Educational Objective Applicants with little or no college credit are expected to submit an educational objective. Emphasis should be placed on experiences you had since leaving high school or college that will make you a successful college student.  The educational objective form can be found here.
  Guardianship Documents   Guardian documents are court ordered documents showing that the guardian you declare is court appointed. For questions, regarding guardianship documents, please contact the Office of Admissions
  ProofCitizen/LawfullyPresent**   Tennessee Law requires that all enrolled students provide certain documentation before tuition or financial aid can be assessed. Please visit memphis.edu/admissions/evea.php for additional information.
  Selective Service Registration   Federal law requires all male U.S. citizens, regardless of where they live, and male immigrants, whether documented or undocumented, residing in the United States, who are 18 through 25, to register with Selective Service.   UG Application Fee   The undergraduate application fee at the University of Memphis is $25 (one-time fee). Fee waivers are accepted in certain circumstances. For additional information on fee waivers and to see if you qualify, please visit memphis.edu/admissions/freshmen/app_fee_waiver.php
  English Proficiency   The University of Memphis requires applicants from nations whose primary language is not English to satisfy English proficiency prior to admission.  For information on how English proficiency can be satisfied, please visit www.memphis.edu/admissions/international
