Melanie Trout Anderson

BFA in Graphic Design, 1986

Melanie earned her BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Memphis and her Master's of Art Education from Memphis College of Art. She began her career as a graphic designer and was quickly promoted to Director of Advertising for Catherine's Stores Corporation where she served for 15 years before finding her true calling as an art educator. Melanie is a working artist and dog advocate living in Arlington, TN. She currently teaches AP Art, Art 4 and Art 2 at Arlington High School. Melanie's personal work was published by North Light Books in Incite 2: The Best of Mixed Media, and Incite 4: The Best of Mixed Media in 2014 and 2016. Her work can be found in art collections around the country.
