Healthy Conversations - Flavors of Fall

Join University of Memphis School of Health Studies Registered Dietitians and Culinary Nutrition faculty members Sara Foley and Mary Catherine Schallert for a celebration of autumn flavors.

We’ll explore the flavors of fall with a special nod to squash and apples as we emphasize the health benefits that can come from the recipes chosen. Learn how to cook a nutritious and nourishing meal for the holiday season and enjoy your prepared dish among friends in a dinner party setting.

You'll learn:

» healthy and simple concepts you can practice in your own kitchen.

» strategies for meal planning.

» helpful information on how different foods and cooking techniques can help you eat well and healthfully.

Best of all, at the end of the class, you'll get to eat all the delicious food you cook!

Reservations are required. There are 6 cooking stations for 4 people each, so sign up with a group or sign up individually and meet new friends!
