About Wesley LaRue
Wesley LaRue is a nonprofit development professional, having worked the past nine years at the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis and YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South. Prior to joining the nonprofit workforce, Wesley spent ten years in banking and finance. She received her Certified Nonprofit Professional credential in 2017.
Wesley holds a BBA in Finance from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis and a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver.
She is a member of the 2013 Class of Hull Fellows, the Southeastern Council of Foundations for the South's emerging leaders in philanthropy. Also a graduate of the 2016 Class of Leadership Memphis' Executive Program, Wesley has served on a variety of nonprofit boards and committees for Memphis area nonprofit organizations, including Volunteer Odyssey and the Memphis Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
