About Dr. McSparrin Gallagher
Dr. McSparrin Gallagher is a Research Associate II in the CREP Statistics Department, and a former Research Evaluator with Memphis City Schools. She earned an Ed.D. in Foundations of Education, with a concentration in Research Methodology and Statistics, from The University of Memphis. Dr. McSparrin Gallagher has extensive experience providing meaningful and accurate information for a variety of decision makers. Her current work at CREP includes statistical analyses of literacy and science programs, as well as conducting matched pair analyses in the area of Supplemental Educational Services for the states of Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, and West Virginia. She has also carried out qualitative analyses of survey and observation data for CREP projects in a wide variety of subject areas. As a Research Evaluator with Memphis City Schools, Dr. McSparrin Gallagher developed expertise in large scale survey development, implementation, analysis, and reporting. She was the primary researcher for the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System, a 5-year data collection, monitoring, and evaluation program funded by the Centers for Disease Control's Division of Adolescent and School Health.
