About Us
The Crews Center first opened its doors in November 2013. Since then, the Center has evolved over time into a hub of entrepreneurship and innovation on campus and a central place for students to explore entrepreneurship through both education and experiential learning opportunities. A key part of the Memphis entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Crews Center develops young aspiring entrepreneurs into the community's business leaders of tomorrow.

Mike Hoffmeyer has been the director of the Crews Center for Entrepreneurship since it opened its doors in 2013, advising and mentoring hundreds of student entrepreneurs in that time while continually evolving programs and designing new program to meet the ever-changing needs of aspiring entrepreneurs. “What we do at the Crews Center is help students believe in themselves, at the end of the day. So many aspiring entrepreneurs have great ideas but don’t know what to do next or where to go for help and direction or to meet other like-minded people. That’s what we’re here for!” |
