About Leslie Vanelli

Leslie Vanelli is the Project Associate in the Center for the Study of Higher Education (CSHE). Her main focus is on the evaluation of the Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) program at Kansas State University, a program that assists urban, rural, and tribal brownfield communities and other stakeholders by engaging in participatory action-based research involving brownfield redevelopment. The end goal is to empower stakeholders by identifying community needs and partnering with them throughout the process of brownfield revitalization. In addition to managing this multi-year evaluation, Leslie is skilled in the design and implementation of a range of research activities, including creating evaluation instruments and survey administration, conducting focus groups and interviews, data collection and analysis, as well as writing and editing technical reports. She also manages the administrative efforts for the Center.

Leslie is a proud graduate of the University of Memphis and has been employed with the University since 2012.
