As the University of Memphis continues to coordinate with local, state and federal entities regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), multiple steps are being taken to reduce risk and limit exposure to protect the health and safety of our community. Based on current social distancing guidelines, the University has decided to cancel all camp and youth programming for the month of May.

Out of an abundance of caution, the University of Memphis has decided to continue its suspension of on-campus youth programming, including summer camps, through the month of June. We recognize the important social and educational benefits summer camps lend to the youth experience, and the critical benefit of child care that they provide to working families. We feel this is a proactive measure needed to ensure the safety of program participants and staff.

A determination for July programs will be announced in mid-June. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we continue to make decisions in the best interest of our campus and local community.
