Active Citizenship Immersion Program

The Active Citizenship Immersion Program provides current and rising high school students with an experiential opportunity to learn about democracy, citizenship, and leadership–while exploring the practice and profession of community organizing with staff, leaders, and partners of MICAH (Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action & Hope). This immersive program will give students the opportunity to look at social issues in their own communities through the lens of organizing and build the skills to make an impact on those issues–both in the future as adults and today as young people.
