Business Etiquette is a training component of the Fogelman Promise Professional Development
Program and is designed to teach students proper dining techniques and casual conversation
protocols in the business world. The program is coordinated by Dr. Barbara Davis,
Associate Professor of Management.
Many students have never been exposed to formal dining or networking in a business
setting. Through the Fogelman College of Business & Economics’ Business Etiquette
program, these protocols are discussed and demonstrated by a certified etiquette consultant.
Participating students have a cost for the program of $10 (though similar programs
run from $100-$150 per person) and covers food, beverages and printed materials.
The program is offered only to business majors. Students enrolled in MGMT 3510 and
students classified as juniors or seniors are given first priority for enrollment.
