Graduate Student Assistantships
Assistantship appointments provide stipend and tuition benefits to a graduate student who engages in teaching, research, and/or service for the UofM.
Academic units play large roles in the e-contract process used to assign stipends and tuition assistance. These e-Contracts may include tuition & fees assistance, departmental scholarships and/or a monthly stipend. As part of this process, we are providing a power point presentation that outlines the process of e-Contract benefits:
- Training Power Point
- Banner View Only Access (Fill in PDF form that needs to be completed, signed with supervisor approval then returned to the USBS office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org - SUBJECT LINE: GA BANNER ACCESS REQUEST)
- Legend for the financial report - definitions of the residency and definitions of the Tuition & Fees assistance with status explanation
- Example of the financial report that will help provide departments updated information in the review to determine accuracy of the awarded amounts and the options to amend or change a student e-Contract prior to each semester’s initial payment due date
