About Jessica Newsome
Jessica joined the College of Health Sciences in October 2016 as the coordinator of recruitment and pre-enrollment activities. She started her journey at the University of Memphis in 2013 as a journalism/public relations graduate student and graduate assistant for Adult and Commuter Student Services as their designer/editor of their biweekly newsletter. Upon graduating in 2015, she worked as a transfer admissions counselor, and briefly the campus visitations coordinator, for the Office of Recruitment and Orientation. She has a passion for working with students and loves recruiting new Tigers to the University. The UofM is a great place to work as well as get an education, and Jessica enjoys implementing new enrollment and retention strategies for the College of Health Sciences.
