Running Analysis

Motion Analysis - $150.00

This is an approximate 60-75 minute laboratory session for runners aimed to analyze running biomechanics. You will perform a running test lasting between 5 to 20 minutes (depending on your preference). During this test, over 20 reflective markers will be placed on your body to measure how your body moves during running. Following the analysis, a report of your analysis is provided with comparisons to normative values of running biomechanics. Lab staff will then discuss these results with you to attempt to provide you with a full understanding of their meaning.

Golf Swing Analysis

Motion Analysis Only(includes 3 stroke types) - $200.00 ($25.00 per additional stroke type)

This is an approximate 60-90 minute laboratory session for golfers of all levels wanting to further understand their golf swing and identify critical swing errors to improve golf performance. You will perform up 3 different golf strokes of your choice (e.g., putting, chipping, wedges, mid-irons, long-irons, fairway woods, driver) while your swing motion is captured. During this test, over 20 reflective markers will be placed on your body to measure how your body moves during your golf swing. Following the analysis, a report of your swing analysis will be provided. Lab staff will then discuss these results with you to make sure that you fully understand their meaning. You can present this report to your golf instructor to further expand practice techniques to improve your game.

Muscle Activity Analysis Only (includes 3 stroke types) - $200.00 ($25.00 per additional stroke type)

This is an approximate 60-90 minute laboratory session for golfers of all level wanting to gain critical information regarding timing of muscle activation during their golf swing. You will perform up 3 different golf strokes of your choice (e.g., putting, chipping, wedges, mid-irons, long-irons, fairway woods, driver) while timing of muscle activation is measured. During this test, small measuring receptors will be placed over important muscles involved in the golf swing (e.g., hips, trunk, shoulders, elbow/wrists) to understand how these muscles activate during specific phases of the golf swing. Following the analysis, a report of these data will be provided. Lab staff will then discuss these results with you to make sure that you fully understand their meaning. You can present this report to your golf instructor to further expand practice and training techniques to improve your game.

Complete Golf Analysis (Motion and Muscle Activity) - $350.00

You may choose to receive a complete analysis, including the above described motion and muscle activity measures, in order to obtain an all-inclusive analysis of your golf swing for up to 3 different stroke types of your choice.

Baseball/Softball Analysis

Bat Swing Analysis $125.00

You will perform your usual bat swing while your swing motion is captured. During this test, over 20 reflective markers will be placed on your body to measure how your body moves during your bat swing. Following the analysis, a report of your swing analysis will be provided. Lab staff will then discuss these results with you (or a parent or coach, if this is the case) to make sure that you fully understand their meaning. You can present this report to your coach/hitting instructor to further expand practice techniques to improve your swing.
