Late and Retroactive Withdrawal Guidelines


After the drop deadline for a semester, students whose reasons for withdrawal meet the guidelines for “extreme circumstances” must submit a Withdrawal Petition to the college or school of their major with the information requested from each instructor and with appropriate written documentation. Petitions to withdraw from courses that ended more than one regular (fall or spring) semester after the semester for which the withdrawal is requested must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office (located in Wilder Tower 003) or by email to darkeel@memphis.edu.
