Running Biomechanics + Injury Risk Assessment

*Assessments and testing are currently on hold *

Understand your running technique with a detailed biomechanical analysis using a state-of-the-art motion capture.

What it includes:

  • Lower limb Loading Assessment on the Track
    • Lower limb Impact Metrics
  • Expert Consultation
    • Evaluation of Training Program
    • Training Recommendations

Designed for runners by an expert biomechanist and running coach, this comprehensive testing provides a detailed understanding of the way you run and the way you load your body. Your running technique will be measured in during on-track running using advanced inertial measurement units. An expert will talk you through your results in detail and provide key technique, posture and strength training recommendations based on the data.

Your on-field assessment uses Inertial Measurement Units placed on your lower leg to measure the intensity of every step. The ability to run ‘normally’ and not in a lab on a treadmill ensures data is immediately applicable to your running technique in training and competition. This assessment measures the motion of your lower limbs while running, providing key information about step intensity and asymmetry.

At completion you will receive a full report detailing your running technique including comparisons to normative values. Through discussion, this data will be explained and used to recommend technique changes and provide training suggestions.
